Terms & Conditions
The agreement between you and the academy: enrolment, fees, scheduling, and conduct.
Last updated 23 August 2026
These terms govern your use of https://thenoorulquranacademy.com and your enrolment in classes with The Noor ul Quran Academy. By requesting trial classes, enrolling a student, or using this website, you agree to them.
Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy and our Disclaimer, which form part of the same agreement.
1. Who may enrol
Anyone aged 18 or over may enrol themselves. A student under 18 must be enrolled by a parent or legal guardian, who takes responsibility for the account, the fees, and the student's conduct during classes.
By enrolling, you confirm that the information you give us is accurate and that you are able to enter into this agreement.
2. Free trial classes
Every new student is offered 3 free trial classes. No payment details are required to book them and there is no obligation to continue afterwards.
Trial classes are intended for genuinely new students. We may decline repeated trial requests for the same student made under different names or contact details.
3. Fees and plans
Monthly plans and their prices are published on our pricing page and are quoted in United States dollars. A fee covers the scheduled one-to-one classes in that plan, the assigned teacher, and the reports described in the plan.
Fees are payable monthly in advance, beginning with the first paid month. We may change our published prices, but a change never affects a month you have already paid for, and we will give existing students reasonable notice before their next renewal.
Any bank charges, transfer fees, or currency conversion costs are your responsibility.
4. Renewal, cancellation and refunds
Plans run month by month. You may stop at any time by telling us before your next month begins, and nothing further will be charged. There is no notice period and no cancellation fee.
Once a month has been paid for, that month's fee is not refundable. The teacher's time is reserved for your student for the whole month and cannot be reassigned.
If we are the reason a class does not happen, for example a teacher is unavailable and no substitute is offered, that class is rescheduled or credited to the following month. If we discontinue a course entirely, we refund the unused portion of the month.
5. Scheduling, attendance and missed classes
Class times are agreed with you before lessons begin, and we teach across every time zone. Please tell us as early as you can if a class needs to be moved.
Classes cancelled by the student with at least 12 hours notice are rescheduled where the timetable allows. Classes missed without notice, or where the student does not appear within 15 minutes of the start time, are treated as taken and are not made up.
Repeated absence without contact may lead us to release the time slot to another student.
6. Teachers
We assign a teacher based on the course, the student's level, the language of instruction and the timetable. Female students are paired with qualified female teachers whenever this is requested.
If a teacher is unwell or unavailable, we may provide a suitably qualified substitute. If a student is not comfortable with their teacher, tell us and we will arrange a change wherever we reasonably can.
7. Conduct during classes
Our classes are a place of learning and of respect for the Quran. We ask every student and guardian to:
- Join on time, prepared, and in a quiet place suitable for study
- Treat teachers with courtesy, and raise any disagreement with us rather than with the teacher
- Refrain from abusive, discriminatory, or inappropriate language and behaviour
- Refrain from recording, photographing, or streaming a class without our written consent
- Keep class links and account details private and not share them with others
8. Supervision of young students
A parent or guardian remains responsible for supervising a child's use of the internet and of the class platform, and for the child's safety and wellbeing during lessons. We recommend that classes for young children take place in a shared family space.
9. Technology and platforms
Classes are held over Zoom or Skype. You are responsible for your own device, internet connection, and any software required to join, and for the cost of these.
Those platforms are operated by third parties and their availability is outside our control. Where a class is genuinely disrupted by a failure on our side, we reschedule it.
10. Course materials and intellectual property
All content on this website, and all lesson plans, worksheets, notes, and other materials we supply, belong to The Noor ul Quran Academy or to their respective owners and are protected by copyright.
You may use them for the enrolled student's personal study. You may not copy, republish, resell, or distribute them, or use them to teach others commercially, without our written permission.
Quranic text, hadith and classical works are of course not our property. Our arrangement, explanation, and presentation of them is.
11. Certificates and progress reports
Progress reports are provided at the frequency stated in your plan. Completion certificates are issued when a student finishes a course to their teacher's satisfaction, and they record what the student has completed with us. They are not a state or university qualification and are not accredited by any government body.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end a student's enrolment where fees remain unpaid after a reminder, where the conduct rules above are seriously or repeatedly broken, or where continuing would put a teacher or another student at risk.
Where we end an enrolment for reasons other than conduct or non-payment, we refund the unused portion of the current month.
13. Limitation of liability
We provide our classes with care and through qualified teachers, but we cannot guarantee any particular educational outcome. Our Disclaimer sets out the full position.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with our services is limited to the fees you have paid us in the three months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page, with the date shown at the top, is the one that applies. Continuing to take classes after a change means you accept the updated terms.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Before any formal step, we ask that you raise the matter with us directly. Almost everything can be settled by a conversation, and we would much rather resolve a concern than argue about it.
16. Contact us
